An old-world moment captured in paint — a lady and her faithful pup strolling through an English glade, the birches standing tall at her side. ✨
This piece is truly unique.
•The painting itself looks older than the export label on its back— stylistically late 1800s to early 1900s.
•The wood backing and brass fittings appear to be early 20th century at the latest.
•So most likely: An original late Victorian/Edwardian hand-painted panel that was resold/exported mid-century (1950s–70s) through North Wilts.
This hand-painted panel once belonged to a piece of English furniture, later exported through North Wilts of Wiltshire.
Today it stands beautifully on its own — a true fragment of history.
